Interviewing at Conn
Our admission counselors read every application we receive. It’s part of our holistic approach to admission, in which we try to get to know each applicant as a full and complete individual.
When possible, we hope to meet applicants—either in person or online—for an interview. They are not required, but interviews are an excellent way for us to get to know you and you to get to know us. And our interviews are just conversations about you and your interests and activities—nothing you have to study or prepare for!
We offer 30-minute interviews to rising and current high school seniors from mid-June to mid-December, and to prospective transfer students from mid-January to mid-April. The full schedule and other visit options can be found here.
We Also Have a Video Option
If our interview schedule doesn’t work with yours, or you’d like to provide even more depth to your application, you can do so via Glimpse, an online platform through which you can share a 60- to 90-second video. This is an opportunity to talk about anything you want, either to elaborate on a topic addressed in your Common Application or to add something the Common Application didn't ask!
Interviews for International Applicants
If you live in a time zone that makes online interviewing with Conn difficult, we have a solution: InitialView. InitialView interviews are conducted in your time zone and sent directly to us. It’s easy to set up an interview, but don’t delay: InitialView interviews must be submitted by December 1 (for Early Decision I applicants) and February 1 (for Early Decision II and Regular Decision applicants) in order to be considered with your application.
